Sadie is playing the harp!

Next year in the strings program in Forest Grove, which is a gargantuan bonus because they start it in 2nd grade and it doesn't cost anything, we are having sadie start on the harp as her instrument. Awesome, huh? I think it will look pretty good in the front room.

Here is a link to the intro music for Fargo which I just happened to see the other day and Slade and I put it together

How do you get involved in the string program? I'd like to have them try out the violin at some point.

Hi, I think you just find out at your school. Fern Hill? I am sure they do it too. You might be able to ask if it isn't too late to get her involved this year since that's when they start. We have a starter violin you can use since Chase is now on the viola and will probably move on to the cello. I am also trying to convince Archer to start the oboe next year and move on to the bassoon--part of my strategy to get them to do things that are more in demand.

I am so excited that someone in oour family is playing the harp!!! Such a "celestial" instument.

Let us Utahns know when the first Harp concerto is --- would love to come and see.

Maybe she can play at her own baptism???
